Why?

The Games are going to happen, that is an unchangeable fact. And how can the Church of Jesus work in this moment and in this unprecedented context? For the first time in history, the church will not be able to perform face-to-face in the sports competition areas of the Games, nor will the missionary teams be able to come to Japan to serve with the local church. However, the spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental pressure is huge on each of our brothers, who are somehow playing in the Games. The Bible states that a righteous man's prayer is powerful and effective. And best of all, it can be carried out anywhere in the world and get to Japan without needing a visa, resource, or any other obstacle.

Who?

Every disciple of Jesus is invited to this game.

How?

During the Tokyo 2020 Games.
Olympics from 23 July to 08 Aug.
Paralympics from 24 Aug to 05 Sept.

Whom should I pray for?

For all Christians who will work at the Games (athletes, coaches, referees, volunteers, reporters, etc.).
For non-Christians.
For the local church.

What should I pray for?

Security and divine protection upon everyone.
Wisdom and good testimony from Christians.
Opportunities for Christians who will play at the Games to share the Good News.
Open hearts to hear the Good News.
Physical, mental, and emotional health for everyone who will perform in the Games.
Recreational, sports, and evangelistic activities are carried out by the churches in their local communities.
Salvation.
And for the glory and power of the Lord Jesus to be manifested to the whole world through this event.
